I started out as a copywriter and spent a long stretch working in research, which is why I read the studies myself. Plenty of published studies aren't good ones, and the headline rarely says what the paper found.
My husband Thomas and I run 1flowww, the studio behind this library, and I work exclusively with dental practices. I've spent days inside practice schedules and front desks. I've also interviewed dentists I'd worked with for years and found out things their own patients never knew, like a credential nobody had ever mentioned. That's why every article here tells you who wrote it, who reviewed it, and where their expertise comes from.
The Find a Dentist directory came from my own frustration. When I needed an airway dentist for my kid in Chicago, I couldn't find one I trusted.
I live outside Chicago with my three kids and speak Polish and English. If you send a correction through the form at the bottom of any article, I'm the one who reads it first.
